Innacurate Content Distribution Display

I recently worked with Finny Samuel from the Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager Support Team to figure out how to resolve an issue where content statuses for content that were distributing out (yellow) had been forced to show as green in the console (another story), even though content was not truly successfully distributed to those DPs. The following script is the result of an effort to automate the intensely tedious resolution to clear up the false status of "Bad Packages" on a per package basis for each package. In addition, options are available to cleanup the opposite situation, where an "Obsolete Package" is not in the SCCM database anymore (perhaps it was removed), but is still present in the Content library on the Distribution point, and to run the script in "report only" mode, where corrections will actually be attempted.

In my environment, I ran this through a foreach DP loop with correction options enabled, which caused the issue to clear itself up once Configuration Manager knew to start moving the content.

Script is attached, and is also available in the Script Library section. Hope this can help to save someone else some time! Happy SysAdminage!
